This may just be the ultimate green smoothie. Loaded with vitamins, nutrients, and fibre, you could say that this smoothie is a dream come true! 

This smoothie recipe uses flavorful, nutritious ingredients, including Acazen, Alpinia’s 100% plant-based fibre supplement.

Recipe

Number of servings: 1

Serving size: 200 ml

Ingredients:

  • 2 g / 1 tea bag Peppermint tea
  • 7 g Mint leaves
  • 40 g Spinach leaves
  • 25 ml Orange juice (freshly pressed is best)
  • 5 g Walnut oil
  • 10 ml Lime juice (home-pressed)
  • 125 ml Water
  • 5 g Acazen acacia gum powder

Steps:

  1. Put the peppermint tea bag (2 g) in 125 ml hot water.
  2. Let it cool down and add 1 sachet (5 g) of Acazen.
  3. Juice the orange and lime.
  4. Add the orange juice, lime juice, spinach and mint into a blender and blend.
  5. Add the peppermint tea and the walnut oil and mix until thoroughly blended.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
